Katie is an Associate Solicitor in our Family Law Team, having joined Watkins and Gunn in August 2021. Katie qualified in 2014 and previously trained and worked at a niche Family Law firm in Cardiff.
Katie specialises in all areas of Family Law and has extensive experience in relation to matters arising out of separation, to include divorce and complex financial matters. Katie regularly deals with complicated private children matters to include child arrangements and international/ internal relocation. Katie also deals with cohabitation agreements, cohabitation disputes and matters relating to domestic violence.
Katie is known for dealing with cases in an empathetic way and for going the “extra mile” to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients. Where possible, Katie will always promote an amicable resolution but will also provide confident representation in Court if need be.
Throughout her career Katie has regularly contributed to media, commenting on developments in Family Law and was previously interviewed live on the ITV Evening News in relation to the “smacking ban” within Wales.
